Top Ten Ai Generated Journalism Jokes

This week I decided to use two different types of generative Ai, Google Gemini and ChatGPT, to craft journalism jokes and collect the top ten generated!

Below are the top ten jokes curated:

1. Why did the journalist bring a ladder to work? 

        To reach new heights!

2. Why was the journalist always calm? 

        They new how to keep their headlines under control! 

3. Why did the newspaper go to therapy? 

        It had too many issues!

4. Why did the social media influencer break up with the journalist? 

        They just couldn't handle the "press"ure!

5. What's a journalist's favorite exercise? 

       Running with the story!

The generative Ai that produced the best quality and variety of jokes was ChatGPT. Gemini did not provide the type of jokes I wanted and struggled to understand the desired task. I tried to prompt it by asking the same question in different forms but it gave the same results. However, ChatGPT produced a variety of jokes such as the ones above and below.

       A contagious idea!

7. Why did the social media manager get kicked off the airplane?

      They were trying to tweet the turbulence!

8. Why was the journalist great at parties?

      They always had the best "scoops" to share! 

9. Why did the journalist always carry a pencil?

      In case they have to draw a conclusion!

10.Why did the journalist refuse to play cards

      They couldn't handle the "deck" of rumors!
